There is a more or less fixed schedule for the parties on the island. The big ones have a fixed day of the week. Some bars are a bit hidden but when they are the main party that night there will be torches outside on the main road to guide you there.

Monday #
Pub Quiz at the Irish Embassy - The island’s proper Irish pub in Long Beach, going since 2006. Guinness, live sport on the screens, pool, darts and pub food. It is on the main road, so not a beach party.
Irie Bar - Laid-back reggae and live music spot on Long Beach Road, with seating in little huts and tables tucked among the trees. Bands start around 20:00. Go early and it’s also a good place to eat, and there’s a small clothing shop inside.
Tuesday #
Pangea, starts at 21:00. A stylish beach bar (for Koh Lanta) on Long Beach with cushions right by the sea, well-made cocktails and fresh coconuts. Sunsets, techno and deep house. To get there go to Lym’s and walk south on the beach or go directly from the main road over a dirt road. Happy hour runs 17:00–21:00.
Wednesday #
Fusion Bar, starts at 21:00. One of the larger beach parties on the island, above Klong Khong beach. Expect DJs, fire shows, cocktails and a crowd of solo travellers, so it’s an easy place to make friends. Signs around the island point the way.
Thursday #
Ozone Bar, starts at 22:00 until 3 AM. On Long Beach and the party on Thursdays runs late with DJs and electronic music.
Friday #
Saturday #
Free Descent is a lively bar near the beach in Saladan with a cave-like feel, free pool tables and an energetic dance floor. Saturday is karaoke night, and you get a free shot every time you sing.
Korner Bar is a relaxed beach bar that turns into a party place after 22h. It has good DJ’s, dance music and well-priced drinks. It’s where the Saturday crowd heads after Free Descent to keep going until 2:45 AM.
Sunday #
Horizon Bar - A chilled beach bar roughly halfway along Klong Nin beach, part of Horizon Bungalows. Deck chairs and big beanbags on the sand make it a good sunset spot. Open from around 19:00 until late.
